Behavior Solutions

The behavior solutions team strives to decrease disruptive or inappropriate behaviors and increase skills needed for success in the home, school, workplace, and community.

In comparing Easterseals RISE behavior solutions to other programs or providers, here are some things to consider:

  • Our team will address behaviors such as eloping, aggression, being off-task, self-injury, or disruptive behaviors. We will work to determine the behavior’s cause and design positive interventions and alternatives.

  • The process starts with an interview to find the best match between the individual and one of our behavior consultants. The consultant then helps the individual and family create a road map to reach goals.

  • Our behavioral consultants take a holistic approach, understanding how the behavior affects all aspects of functioning.

  • Training is provided to the entire team to ensure everyone is collaborating toward the individual’s success.

  • For children who are still in school, our behavior consultants will share their findings and the Behavior Support Plans they formulate with the school.
