Easterseals RISE Collaborates with Cahoots for Young Adult Program

Easterseals RISE has launched a new Transitions program with Cahoots Coffee Café to help young adults develop skills for independence and workplace success.

Church-Stavitzke Succeeds Stackhouse as Executive Director

Crystal Church-Stavitzke will be promoted to Easterseals RISE executive director as Chris Stackhouse has chosen to resign from the position.


Stackhouse has been executive director since October 2017.


“The birth of our second child earlier this year made it very clear to me that my family has to be my priority for now,” Stackhouse said. “I’m fortunate that my circumstances allow me to make this choice to focus on being a dad.”  Click to read more 

United Way Supports Easterseals RISE with Grant

Easterseals RISE has been awarded a $3,750 grant from Steuben County United Way.


The funding will help Easterseals RISE provide employment services and educational opportunities to people with disabilities.


Easterseals RISE partners with individuals and families to help people with disabilities become as independent as possible by providing personalized services.

Easterseals Arc and RISE Merge

Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana and RISE Inc. announced a plan to merge in April 2020, and it became official July 1, 2020.

Easterseals Arc and RISE each have more than 55 years of history supporting individuals with disabilities. Merging the two organizations will enable them to serve more people with a broader scope of services in Steuben and DeKalb counties. Operations in the Fort Wayne area will continue to be known as Easterseals Arc, while operations in the Angola area will be Easterseals RISE. Read more
